Vinyl Halloween decorations 2009 using the cricut

Here is what I put on my windows this year using vinyl and my cricut. Cartridges I used were blackletter, cuttin up, opposites attract, and paper dolls. My daughter drew the haunted house on the door and the ghosts and pumpkins on the big window. :) Gotta love vinyl!

Football - Pep Rally Treat 2009

It came together really fast. To see last year's pep rally treat you can click

Sorry that the pictures are a little out of focus...camera was not agreeing with me. On the back of the slip I had the information for the game.

The Laundry Room...loads of fun - vinyl wall saying

My sister-in-law, who happens to also be named Natalie :) has this saying in her laundry room and I liked it so much I re-created it. I used plantin schoolbook and jasmine cartridges.

Speak kind words, reveive kind echoes...newest vinyl wall saying

My sweet friend, Kristen, told me this thought months ago and it has helped me so much in my life. I finally got it up on the wall. Thanks Kristen.

Font used: Scriptina

I added this last picture..because it included a "blue-bird". Many of my friends know what this signifies..."wishing you all bluebirds everyday."

Note: If you want to know the story...let me know. :)

Teacher appreciation gifts using homemade JAM

Here are some simple "Thank you" gifts for teachers. I made strawberry jam and then I just used flowers, buttons and ribbon to decorate the lid of the jam. I cut out a flower tag on my cricut...I believe it was the Georges Cartridge. Then I wrote, "Thank you for being so Berry Sweet to me." And then had my daughter sign her name on the other side. The teachers LOVED it. My daughter had 4 pre-school teachers...so, I just did it for all of them. I say it was easy because the freezer jam was already made. I always make some smaller jars of jam .. to give away.

Baby Shower Invite - GIRL using cricut and Wild Card Cartridge

My youngest...but tallest :) sister is having a baby in October and these are the invitations that I made for her baby shower. I LOVE the WILD CARD cartridge. I just selected paper and then choose the size using my Design studio on the computer and the Cricut cut them out. SO CUTE!! I then used the cuttlebug "You're Invited" embossing folder. And then inked the edges and added ribbon. They were really FUN!!!

10 commandments of Baseball in vinyl

I did this recently for someone who was hanging in a newly dedicated baseball park. Just click on it to see it LARGER. :) This one took a lot longer to do ...just because of the small letters...but, it was fun.

School Projects with vinyl lettering

Last spring my twins were in 5th grade and required to come up with a state float. My boy chose Colorado....because of football and the Denver broncos. My girl chose Tennessee....so that she could make Dollywood. :)

This is the cheerleading outfit my daughter wore for her first Halloween. We used rubber bands and bungee her on the back of the float.

Customized Lil coupe Car

I was so excited to do this for our baby girl. All she wanted for her 2nd birthday was a car. I wanted to make it look different because there are a few of the same cars in our circle. Little Tikes is doing their 30 year anniversary and so this car came with eyeballs ... too cute. So, here is her custom FLOWER POWER Princess Car! I also added blue eyes and eyelashes!! TOO FUN!

I love cricut for these kind of things. Here is the Star student of the week poster I did for my daughter. I used Lyrical letters for the name and georges basic shapes cartridge for the stars. This is came together really quick and I like that I have her favorite things down for the year!

Wedding Banner

This is the first banner and biggest project I have done with vinyl. I was not able to cut out something this big on my cricut. The banner is 4 x6 feet. Luckily, I know someone with a bigger machine and she was so great to help me and cut this out :)!! THanks KRISTIN!!! My sister and I put it on the banner ... it was so much fun and I think it turned out great. Thanks Shari again for your late night help and for finding the image for the dancing couple. And Kristin ... You are amazing!!!

We hung the banner by the "dance floor." The font used was Scriptina.

My sister in law is a folk dancer for BYU ... don't you think the dancing couple looks like that? They are so much fun!!!

More glass etching - Wedding shower gift

I etched these 3 pans for a "couples shower" we did for my brother and his sweet new wife!

Wedding Sign-in book

These last few weeks have been so busy...but, so much fun. I created a wedding sign-in book for my neice, but forgot to take pictures. It turned out great. Her colors were plum, sage green and black and silver. My brother was getting married a week after her and so I thought it would be fun to create one for them. Their colors were coral and peach. I had it at the luncheon and everyone was able to sign it. You can just click on the picture to see it larger. Special thanks to my sister Shari that stayed up with me to help me create and adhere!!! :)

And a HUGE thanks to my husband, Wade ...who took the great pictures and printed them out for me. :) Love you !
