Bridal Shower Card

I made this card for my nephew's fiance (now wife :), for her bridal shower. I used the paper doll cartridge for the cricut. It was a "matchbook" style card, cut from the Tags, Bags and Boxes cartridge. The lilac cardstock was embossed with the cuttlebug, using the divine swirls embossing folder. I also stapled it with the staple "LOVE" and put dimensional glaze on the staple. I then added silver cord ribbon from Stampin' up. I used a lot of vellum, bling and glitter paper on the paper dolls. It was a fun card to make.

Wedding gift using vinyl lettering

Here is another vinyl lettering project. This was for a dear teacher that was getting married this year. I got the metal frame from Roberts Crafts.

Latest Vinyl Lettering

This is a saying on a mirror ...obviously. First mirror I have done..it says "Has anyone seen my Glass Slippers?" It turned out great. You can't see it very well from the picture. :) It was fun though!

GOT CHOCOLATE?!

I made this "chocolate fix " bucket for the same enrichment night auction. I added quotes on chocolate also. This idea was inspired by my dear friend Kristen. Thanks again, Kristen. You can click on the picture to make it larger. It is easier to see the quotes that way. :)

Card Box

This box I made for an enrichment auction at our church. It was a lot of fun to do. The box I bought at Roberts Arts & Crafts.

Star Student

Each school year the teachers seem to "highlight" a student each week. This is one I did for Abby. It was really quick, because I only put one photo on it.

Teacher Appreciation

I love helping at my childrens' schools. I have been a room mom for 8 years now. I absolutely love interacting with my childrens' classmates and their teachers. Teacher appreciation is a fun time. We usually decorate the door and I like to put together some kind of scrapbook with thank you notes from the students and parents. Here are some pictures of last years teacher appreciation. I used the cricut to cut out the letters and the paper doll and seashells.

More Vinyl Lettering

Here are a few more:

I have to give credit to my good friend Janae..I copied her idea for the saying above my job chart. It is hard to see, but, if you click on it you can see it really well. Cute idea huh?!

Vinyl Lettering

I love to cut out vinyl lettering on my cricut and put it on anything and everything. I posted some I did in my children's rooms on our family blog tycksentales.blogspot.com

Here are some more I have done. Just click on the picture to make it larger.

Clipboards

Kristina's 13th birthday party was a mystery theme. So, Lauren and I stayed up one night and decorated 10 clipboards for the girls to use and take home. We had called each girl to find out their favorite colors and made them custom :). It was a lot of fun. I used mod podge to glue it down and glaze it once the papers were in place. And then sanded the edges once they were dry. Kristina and Lauren also made flower pens for each of the girls. It was such a fun party!
On my family blog there is a slide show of the party. There is a link on this page, just click onTycksen Tales.

Note: You can click on any photo to get a closer look.:)

Mother's Day Card

This is a card I made for Mother's Day. I love the colors. I was inspired by an outfit that Chloe was wearing one day. Once again, I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug and then inked it white. The pink paper the flower is on is called a slider, a die cut from cuttlebug. My sister, Shari, taught me that trick. Thanks Shari! In fact, I think I will post some of the cards she has made...she is AMAZING! :)

Notebook

Here is another notebook that I did for a birthday gift. It shows a front and back side :). The letters were cut with my Cricut, I believe it was the Jasmine cartridge.

Baby Shower invite

This was the invitation I made for my sister Laurel's baby shower. She had liked the colors of the thank you cards I did, so I came up with this. I used a "baby girl" embossing folder and the "dots" embossing folder from Cuttlebug. (If you haven't noticed...I love my cuttlebug!!) I scored the lines using my scor-pal. Love that too!! I chalked the baby and the pea pod.

Secret Service Agent Invite

In our church I am blessed to work with the girls that are 8-11 years old. We had a great combined activity last week. We found the idea on sugardoodle.net, it is a Secret Service Agent Activity. I was in charge of making the invitations. I used my cricut to cut out envelopes and tags. I then printed info on the tag, inked it black and attached a red ribbon. On the envelope I stamped
TOP SECRET in white and added a paper with AGENTS WANTED attached with a paper clip. The activity was a blast. Everyone did a fabulous job. They received breifcases, id's, a service mission for the next week and badges. One of my favorite parts was that we took their ID PHOTO with those funny glasses that have a nose attached. They were all so very cute. It turned out great..thanks to all the helpful and talented women in our ward!!

Thank You, Blank Card

These cards were inspired by Sue Nelson at www.heartprints.net She has the most beautiful cards...thanks for sharing Sue. I used the Cuttlebug and my Scor-pal to create these cards. I love the "birds" embossing folder. :)

Thank You Card

I made this card for a baby shower gift. I like to make sets of similar cards and give them as part of a gift..in sets of 5 to 10. The base card is white and the edges are inked in pink. I embossed the pink with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The ribbon I found at Michaels.

Altered Composition Notebooks

I like to make notebooks
for birthday gifts. Here
are a few I did recently.
The letters and paper doll
were cut with my Cricut.
On the "Eliza" notebook
I used bazzill "bling" paper and glitter
vellum. I also used the Cuttlebug dot embossing folder. You can click on the picture to enlarge and see greater detail. :)

"Sweet 16" Card

This was a card I made for a Birthday Theme. I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the dots on the front. The flowers and 16 are cut from doodlebug paper..it has glitter on it. It is "sugar-coated" with glitter. The "sweet" was written with a versamark pen and heat embossed with green.
